Lidcutt Valley Walk

Father and son
We went out again intending to go geocaching but had a little hiccup when we couldn't get a GPS signal along the way. So it wasn't a successful geocache but it was a lovely walk.

We went back to Cardinham Woods taking the Lidcutt Valley walk. This is a 3.5mile/5.5km walk with a pretty steep long climb at the beginning. The views from the top were amazing, though I kept to the side well away from the edge- I really don't like big drops!!!

A gorgeous green glade
From the path we saw this beautiful glade across the stream. It was quite magical with the sound of the burbling stream adding natures music to the scene...

Lady Vale Bridge

Lady Vale Bridge dates from the 12th century and is named after the Chapel of Our Lady which was alongside the river.

We've had such a wonderful day. We will go back for the geocache soon, but missing it today really doesn't matter because we've had the chance to walk and talk together as a family!

Until next time
Gillian
